Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will be ready to take on high impact projects, including real-time signal acquisition, signal processing, and image reconstruction that will enhance performance and expand capabilities of this unique MR technology.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop new user interface used to view medical images.
• Build well designed and effective applications that support complex workflows.
• Develop infrastructure for transmission of sensitive clinical data on the cloud.
• Support engineering by developing automation and test tools.
• Follow and build upon software engineering best practices for code management and testing.
• Work with QA to validate and document feature development.
• Motivated team-player comfortable working with a cross-functional team on projects related to MRI, DICOM viewers, and robotics.

Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related fields. Advanced degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of demonstrable experience programming in Qt and Python.
• Expertise developing responsive layouts with CSS and HTML.
• Detail oriented with a positive attitude with a willingness to share and learn from others.

Desired Experience:
• Familiarity with React, Node.js, REST API / services.
• Familiar with integration and virtualization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), source control and cloud services (AWS / GCP).

Algorithms Engineer

The Algorithms Engineer will significantly contribute to build and expand the capabilities of our MRI system.

Main Responsibilities:
• Build algorithms for our new compact office-based MRI system.
• Own imaging and software projects related to signal processing, signal analysis, and linear algebra.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of software, system, and RF engineers in building a robust system that produces high quality clinical images while minimizing scan time.

Minimum Qualification:
• MS or PhD in electrical engineering, applied physics, math, aerospace, statistics, or computer science.
• Demonstrated industry or research experience (2-4 years) in signal or image processing, computer vision, or machine learning.
• Solid background in math, signal processing, and linear algebra.
• Proficient in Python and supporting tools for scientific computing.

Desired Experience:
• Prior experience with medical imaging processing and analysis in a scientific setting.
• Prior experience with signal processing and/or MR imaging physics.
• Familiarity with reconstruction methods for MRI or CT is a plus.
• Have a high bar for delivering reliable and quality code.

Quality & Regulatory Engineer

The Quality & Regulatory Engineer will help develop this unique MR technology and promote highest level quality excellence within the team.

Main Responsibilities:
• Create and manage a quality management system (QMS).
• Document, review, and maintain quality records.
• Perform periodic internal quality audits and analyze quality metrics to suggest improvements to management.
• Initiate necessary actions when anomalies are identified.
• Be the lead during external audits.
• Keep abreast with regulatory changes and requirements and proactively communicate such changes across the organization.
• Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers and managing outcomes within bounds of the quality system.
• Regularly update management on all regulatory submissions, licenses and certifications.

Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Technical knowledge and applicability of FDA regulations and ISO standards.

RF Engineer

The RF Engineer will have considerable coil design knowledge, motivated to develop this unique MR technology.

Main Responsibilities:
• Design low frequency RF transmit and receive coils for magnetic resonance imaging.
• Brainstorm new concepts to design next generation of MRI coils.
• Construct designed coils with appropriate non-magnetic components that are capable of handling high power transmission and achieving the desired resonance frequency.
• Simulate new coil designs using available simulation tools.
• Has knowledge of MRI industry, is aware of the competition, and can use that knowledge to differentiate us in the market.
• Utilize existing relationships with academic sites and advisors for technical advice.

Minimum Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Physics, Applied Mathematics or closely related field.
• Experience with RF coil design for MRI.
• Able to interpret technical documentation and schematics (electrical, wiring, and mechanical drawings).
• Core fundamentals of math & sciences: electronics, basic electromagnetic theory, etc.
• Creative and resourceful.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Desired Experience:
• Experience with rapid prototyping or development, specifically for hardware components. • Experience performing test and evaluation activities, especially hardware elements/ factors. • Able to characterize coil elements using a network analyzer. • Preferred experience with RF analog hardware (preamplifiers, electromagnetic coils, RF shielding, etc.)

Design Engineer

The Design Engineer will significantly contribute to building and expanding the capabilities of our novel AI-powered robotic MRI device for surgical interventions.

Main Responsibilities:
• Design, optimize and build MRI systems to achieve a high level of magnetic field homogeneity and strength.
• Utilize SolidWorks to design MRI hardware systems and related tooling for MR-guided robotic products.
• Provide innovative solutions to support and improve the quality of physical design and system production.
• Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making rapid prototyping to help MR imaging architecture decisions.

Minimum Qualification:
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Demonstrated industry or research experience in hardware design and numerical simulation in medical devices.
• Understand various aspects of MR system requirements including design of MR magnets, patient tables, and testing of mechanical properties .
• Solid background in system optimization, electromagnetic simulation, and 3D CAD software tools.
• Experience with joint hardware-software development and associated rapid prototyping using 3D printers.

Desired Experience:
• MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Knowledge of CAD modeling of product components and assemblies with SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with COMSOL Multiphysics package to simulate magnetic field according to design inputs.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end optimization algorithm models for magnet design, production, and validation.
• Expert in the design and development of medical imaging systems, with a good understanding of materials, 3D prototype printing, Injection Molding, CNC machinery, Airflow cooling, and numerical simulation strategies.

Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will significantly contribute to build and expand the capabilities of our novel portable, easy-to-use MRI and robotics platform.

Main Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a focused multi-functional team developing MR-guided robotic solutions for medical applications.
• Design, build, prototype, and test electrical components for portable MRI systems to ensure signal integrity, performance, and functionality.
• Use simulation/design tools/software to ensure robust and efficient product design.
• Create documentation and generate electronic release packages in accordance with quality standards.
• Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines.
• Gather technical data through experiments, simulation, and formal verification.
• Generate technical reports to support regulatory submission.

Minimum Qualification:
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Demonstrate 2-4 years of industry or research experience in electric design or circuit board design.
• Fundamental knowledge of circuit design and electrical engineering theory.
• Hands-on experience working with electro-mechanical and complex control systems is required.
• Basic knowledge of the function and design of electronic components, electronic circuitry, antennas, and their application in MR solutions.

Desired Experience:
• Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of power electronics system and hardware connections.
